10 weeks a few days and Graduation

My estradiol and progesterone levels were checked once again today and they were “looking great” as my IVF nurse said. I had my last estradiol pill on Friday and estradiol patch removed Saturday night. Tomorrow morning is my last PIO shot. With the bloodwork results today, I get to start weaning off the prednisone. Down from 15mg to 10mg for three days, then to 5 for three days, and then no more.

“Have a great year!” she said, “Send us pictures!” I’m not sure I’ve let myself even imagine pictures, not just blurry black and whites, but real pictures. Oh, I pray I get to take those pictures and share them with the clinic in person.

Congratulations on graduation!!! Mine was just a few weeks ago and when the nurse asked for pictures, I also was taken aback as Ive been so focused on the here and now. Just wait for your first OB appt when they talk about delivery options! That again, has yet to really enter my consciousness!

So so happy for you! Cant wait to follow you on the rest of your journey!

Ooh, I’m so with you! 10w2d pregnant (#5 with 4 previous losses), and graduating was so odd. I’m stopping progesterone in two days. I can’t believe it. Will there really be pictures to send at the end of all this???

I’m 24 weeks today and there are still days I don’t let myself contemplate pictures. It’ll come eventually. I’m rooting for you!

This is such amazing news! Oh, my goodness, but this seems to have come so quickly. I can’t wait for belly shots and continued good news!

omg you’re almost in the second trimester! Not sure how it feels for you, but time flies. I know nerves can last throughout a pregnancy but I hope you are feeling good. I am so happy for you!
